    A bit of fun

Anybody fancy a little experiment. There is a wonderful person on Facebook and you tube called Cole adams music. They sing songs about rewiring your subconcious mind for happiness and health. She says try for 21 days and see what happens. If nothing else the tunes are very catchy, get...

What do you love doing just for fun or just because?

Could be a hobby or something silly or slightly quirky that you just love doing... Maybe you love pretending you're filming a cooking show every time you cook a meal or singing at the top of your lungs while driving..... Or have a hobby of writing or drawing or dancing that you love. Or you...

    Good progress report!

Cooked dinner and did dishes 2 nights in a row! (It was hard, I didn’t give up or give in.) Decided I’m going to freelance again instead of sitting on the couch feeling sorry for myself. I think being retired has been killing me. I’ll have to write using audio, but at least it will work...

Novel ways to try to break the chronic pain & symptoms cycle - free videos by Christine Bradstreet

Check out Christine Bradstreet's free mind/body videos on YouTube (that I only recently discovered). I like them because they are relatively short but encouraging and especially because she comes up with some novel and innovative (and sometimes 'fun' and/or lighthearted) ways of doing TMS work...

Angry about having to do TMS work

I'm honestly pissed off about having to do "TMS work" at all. I have spent a lot of my life suffering, doing various therapies, working to try and ease that suffering. How have you had fun today?

One thing that’s coming up again and again for me is ‘boredom’ and ‘lack of fun’. And I am struggling to think of how to rectify this issue. So firstly, any tips on reconnecting with that playfulness (bare in mind I was the child whose idea of fun was setting up businesses and using excel...

Dr. Hanscom's Blog OCD Is No Fun

From Dr David Hanscom's weekly newsletter: OCD Is No Fun Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is an extreme form of anxiety. Dopamine addiction

Came across this article and thought it may be interesting and worth reading for the TMS crowd: https://www.theguardian.com/global/2021/aug/22/how-digital-media-turned-us-all-into-dopamine-addicts-and-what-we-can-do-to-break-the-cycle (Constant craving: how digital media turned us all into...
