    Hi All:

I am so excited to have found this forum! Thanks to all who participate and support the site. Excuse all my spelling errors, I am an engineer and can't spell very well.

So, my story is like so many others out here. Growing up was complicated. There wasn't much money or structure in the home base. As a result, I was a very anxious kid, and still am as an adult.

But.... this is where my story is different. (I think) as most of the members here are focused on back pain. Mine is all over pain.

So, almost four months ago I started having pain in my back and chest. I went to a rheumatologist who said the back pain was secondary Fibromyalagia. From that moment on I felt an amazing amout of fear overcome me. I went out on the blogs and read all the worse case scenerios and low and behold, the power of suggestion I developed some type of pain syndrome that affects the nerves in my stomach, legs and glutes. I know that sounds crazy, but that's what happened. There were lots of test run and the only one out of sorts was a blood test that showed I have B6 Toxicity which can cause nerve pain.

Since June, my life has been all about the pain and figuring out what is causing it and how to heal it. The original doc who told me I had Fibro withdrew the diagnosis once an expert declaired I did not have it. I am so confused and certain the pain is emotional.

I have a job that I love and work my best to keep things moving along. I am seeing the counselor and in a few weeks a TMS doc. I can't find a counselor in my area who specialist in my area. Can anyone help?

I will start with the structured program, but could really use a mentor, someone who has a similar experience who can help guide me or even chat on the phone as I go through the program.

Before all this I had a very active life, I have a wonderful husband and two great kids. I want my life back.

    Thanks for listening!
    Susan
