I'm 48 years old and I have had back pain coming and going for 20+ years. Apart from a good period of about 4 years (2006-09) I have had pain standing, sitting or really doing pretty much anything apart from a short brisk walk. All I have done is read Dr Sarno's book and am already feeling significant benefit. I'm hugely excited now and am immersing myself into his treatment recommendations. Hoping to be pain free before too long :) Though I am already sad (outwardly) that i won't be able to thank him personally now.
