    Ringing in ears need help

Tinnitus (which I have) can definitely be a TMS symptom but can also be related to hearing loss and rarely other more serious stuff. Please continue to get checked out by the ENT.

    VISITORS SYNDROME

I recently experienced pretty bad muscle spasms during a three week visit by my mom. They started the day she called me and went away a few days after she left ... Amazing what the mind and emotions can do.

Muscle spasms in neck - symptom imperative

I wanted to post an update. After I wrote about my issue here I started to experience some periodic relief from the muscle spasms. Reminding myself that this was TMS helped a lot. However, it didn't go fully away until after my mother went home. It was really clear to me that this was an...

Muscle spasms in neck - symptom imperative

Yes, you are absolutely right. I know I always am trying to make our time together be good and pleasant especially as she gets older and I definitely have repressed my anger and feelings about her and our time together including this trip. I will have to think more deeply about these issues.

    Curious to hear your answers...

I always feel like these symptoms are what lies between me and a more happy life. But I also know that is a fallacy so I keep trying to live my life as if there are no symptoms.

Muscle spasms in neck - symptom imperative

I've had many health issues over the past years that I felt were TMS and I know this one is too. I've suddenly started having periodic and intermittent muscle spasms in my neck and back of my head. They are pretty painful and because they come and go I'm feeling a bit of control. It's not...

    Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain

I was diagnosed with IC and tried all the therapies and diet changes that are recommended and didn't see any real relief from pain or correlation to diet. After 5 years I found TMS and went through the online program here, read a bunch of books and did a 12 week TMS therapy program with a...

    Retirement as TMS Trigger

I think retirement is a factor for me. I've had what I now recognize as TMS symptoms for most of my life but really started having issues once my son was ready to leave home and I had a job change. I was just at the point that I could enjoy life more and instead got sick with Interstial...

Tingling and numbness is freaking me out

That is a great idea to look at my past posts. I know what I will see as when I started on this journey I had no idea that I could be free of the 5+ years of food restrictions I put myself on to try to heal my bladder pain. A year plus later, its still amazingly joyful for me to just pick what...

Tingling and numbness is freaking me out

Thanks for your reply. I've definitely been going through transitions at this time - leaving a long time job and also experiencing the usual stresses of life around health issues for me and my family. I'd say I'm a people pleaser to some degree. I've been trying to focus on the concepts I...

    Need some cheering up

Please know this can improve. I also had vulval pain and even had a doctor suggest surgery. Fortunately I did not go along with that and things did get much better. I really felt like I was broken and that is not the case. Apart from my TMS work what helped me was finding a good...

Tingling and numbness is freaking me out

I've had what I now recognize as TMS symptoms for many years. Back pain, arm pain, chest pain, bladder pain, tinnitus and skin rashes. I've done a lot of work reading Dr Sarno's and other books and saw a TMS therapist for a 12 week focused therapy program and really felt this was helping me a...

Does anyone get pelvic pain after walking?

Thanks for replying. Since I posted the question I've done a lot of work including seeing a therapist and this has gotten much better, so I hope your pain will improve as well.
