Can TMS cause a bone fracture?

I've had severe heel pain for 1.5 years and always attributed it to TMS. For the past 6 months I've also had severe pain in the ball of the same foot. MRI results just showed that my sesamoid is fractured! Now... can TMS (lack of blood flow and oxygen and etc) actually cause a fracture? Or have...

    Day 1 Day 1... again

Starting the SEP again, after once starting it years (?) ago. Feels like I've tried EVERY TMS treatment strategy to get over my severe plantar fasciitis (and other random and lingering symptoms). Of course doubt pops up here and there after so many attempts to treat it as TMS haven't worked. But...

Can plantar fasciitis actually be a structural problem?

I guess my concern is if I treat it as TMS and try to push through pain... what if I actually have a torn ligament that I make worse by instigating it and not letting it heal.

Can plantar fasciitis actually be a structural problem?

I usually feel like if you have to ask if something is TMS, then it probably is. But sometimes it's harder to tell. I'm having severe plantar fasciitis in one foot after a moderate run yesterday. Like, I cannot walk whatsoever and the pain woke me up at night. Pretty big bummer. I had plantar...

Typical TMS but I can't get out of this slump

These are SO accurate, SO good! I also believe this. Looking back on my previous "random" bouts of debilitating back pain, I see that they were totally associated with major life events. (Actually, one was during the very first time I moved across the country to the side which I have now just...

Typical TMS but I can't get out of this slump

I just moved across the country to start my masters. Needless to say, a major life event, esp in the face of covid. My lower left back started hurting 2 weeks ago when I got on the road. It subsided some during the roadtrip but now that I'm here and starting my work, it's been increasing in...

bulging disk causing real problems or is it TMS?

Update: Within a week of my original post, my leg returned to 90% functional for the first time in 14 months, and has remained that way since. As if a switch flipped. I guess I did need to see a doc afterall to confirm my suspicion that TMS was at fault.

bulging disk causing real problems or is it TMS?

Thank you everybody for the responses! This time around, yes. I've had bouts of back pain the past, so at first I figured it was another one of those. However, it's been YEARS since I've had severe back pain. So I tried making connections and realized this bout of it started right after I had...

bulging disk causing real problems or is it TMS?

I'm young, healthy and very active. For a year I've had pain/weakness in my right leg (sciatica), preventing me from running anymore. Finally just went to doc and they blame it on a slightly bulging disk and minor annular tear. They say the bulge is so minor that it shouldn't cause many...

    Throat tightness/closure and TMS?

I get tightness/tension in my throat, or the sensation that my throat is closing up, at seemingly random times. It's been happening in increasing frequency over the past couple months. It simply feels like my throat is not open all the way, like there's a lump or a "frog" sitting in there. It...
