    Understanding fleeting success

I have been contemplating this questions for way to long. Miffy you are spot on. I have struggled with "When will I be Normal again?" I have a date in the past scorched in my brain I was normal on this (date) I have TMS since this (date). Why can't I just be "happy" when not in pain or anxious...

If you are a SHOWTIME "BILLIONS" watcher has anyone noticed Dr. Sarno being mentioned very quickly and briefly in 3 separate episodes in the first 2 seasons?

    Torn meniscus(Please help)

Lynn, I had a L knee torn meniscus. I took my MRI to a well trained TMS Dr. here in Michigan. He concluded with another Dr. opinion I would benefit from surgery. I had it repaired and doing well 5 years later. You can rehab, lift weights, etc.. but if the tear is significant there is the...

Anyone else experiencing a post-election effect?

To all TMS healers, followers, my post was meant as a sarcastic way to bring LAUGHTER which we all know is an important element in our healing process. There was NO intent to harm or disrespect. I was one of the first members to this site and a true TMS believer. That being said, be careful...

The Only Thing I have to Fear is....me

Greetings fellow healers. I will be brief and concrete. I acknowledge my back pain as 100% TMS. It took a while but I accepted my anxiety as TMS. I am fortunate that my physical pain has been very limited. I go through periods of "High Anxiety." Here's what I have concluded in myself ans ask if...

Where are all the old timers on TMS Wiki? Hello!

As an "oldtimer" I have made a conscious effort to not be on the board as consistently as years ago. I found myself somewhat OCDish and taking on the symptoms and pain board members were discussing. That's just a thought.

    Thinking about your thoughts

Brother Herbie, you have nailed it for me. I can be pain free but still "worry" about anticipating my back going out. This is rooted in my anxiety which after many years I have successfully equated it with my TMS. But I go through these bouts of "anticipatory" thoughts. It's like I get stuck...

    Relapse Tips

This is going to sound strange since I am on the site now. But after reading this take 2-3 days and just do your normal TMS work and DON'T go to this or any other TMS support site. See what happens.

    pain worse after exercising

Blackdog: Read my post from yesterday. This is normal. This is the pattern. After 20 years this is the one area that still confuses me. But TMS is a life long recovery. The knowledge is the antibiotic. But the symptoms return when you least expect them. Do your personal psychological work and...
