    Psycho-Physiological Dizziness Syndrome (PPDS)

Yeah, stressors are pretty much what you wrote. Tons of pressure for this to go away, but that always backfires. Hyper focus is never good when dealing with this. I have reread the PDF in the original post multiple times and I am already doing better in terms of lightheadedness. It's so easy to...

    Psycho-Physiological Dizziness Syndrome (PPDS)

Hi everyone, I'm dealing with this again unfortunately. I got a bout of costochondritis at the gym (basically I injured my ribs) and with the chest pain came other weird symptoms, worry and anxiety. My pain is slowly getting better (I kept lifting, just at a lower intensity and volume) but the...

Does anyone else experience dramatic lowering of symptoms at a doctors office?

Just been to the doctor to check out my elbow and knee which have been acting up lately and I feel like an imposter. The conversation went like this: Does this hurt? Nope. Does this hurt? Not really. What about this? Ehhh..no? Mhm..how about like this? No.. It's crazy how I can feel like an...

    Psycho-Physiological Dizziness Syndrome (PPDS)

Hi, Just wanted to drop in and say my symptoms are 99% gone. It really was PPPD. No more chest pain, tinnitus, dizzyness or lightheadedness. It really is as simple as surfing the symptoms and not giving in to fear

    Psycho-Physiological Dizziness Syndrome (PPDS)

I think I have this! I am currently experiencing a lot of the symptoms you described along with chest pain (went to ER already, will be doing some other tests just to rule out heart issues). This started about two weeks ago and I am currently in a very stressful time in my life, I feel like...

    Possibly TMS?

Eh, I did a bunch of various exercises and stretches, nothing really helped. The only thing that seems to help is resting it and not worrying about it so much. I think the exercises just provoke the pain, to be honest. Ice also helps when it gets inflamed

    Possibly TMS?

Update: I've completed more tests and they're all negative. I still have some more appointments set up, but at this point I feel it's all pointless, ie. just pro forma. I've resumed some activity outside of work and my arms feel different. I can't say they're better, but I'm not thinking about...

    Possibly TMS?

I've skimmed through The Mindbody Prescription, but I'll re-read it again over the weekend, since not a lot of it stuck with me.

    Possibly TMS?

Hi guys, I'll try to keep this short :) I've had pain in both arms for the past 6 months, non stop. Sometimes it's ok, manageable, sometimes I think about ending my life (just being honest) because of it. This is a problem, since I work on a computer for a living and I enjoy video games as...
