SteveO's New Book : "BACK PAIN PERMANENT HEALING"

I found these diagrams on Ron Siegels website.... what beautiful diagrams and summations of how both cycles work, for chronic illness, and Recovery. Keep it simple, the simpler the better. Dr. Sarno encouraged both the acknowledgment and feeling of emotional tension just as much as he encouraged...

TMS FEAR= I am never safe

Its almost like the symptoms are manifestations of the fear we hold in mind and body, and that's why in reality symptoms are a blessing, symptoms are teachers. They are teaching us something, not that they are dangerous, but OUR current attitude towards life is one that is fearful. The body and...

2 ten dollar bills will SAVE you. Truth. Paul David

\These are brilliant insights Herbie, I always remembered your posts here on this thread, the simple wisdom that you cannot do anything about "it", but as you have an attitude shift to take it all into life with you, THIS is where the healing starts and ends, not being afraid of whatever it is...

    Guilt

David Burns in his book Feeling Good has a chapter on guilt that is illuminating. He makes good points about the pointlessness of guilt and why carrying guilt is illogical and so helps to let go. Say you make a mistake, or do something you feel bad about - it makes perfect sense that you would...

@Andy Bayliss I sincerely thank you for your reply, I think this idea that anxiety is TMS has to be the case. Im going to explain further what I think below. Also, @m8888888 Thank you as well, I am glad we are both going through the same kind of thing so we can offer each other the support. I...

    Sexual Dysfunction/Zero Sex Drive

    Healed from chronic back pain

@Pietro Carloni Check out my last comment, that seems to be inline with what I was talking about. It seems that you let go of resistance to the anxiety through a welcoming of it, you then overcome it.

    Healed from chronic back pain

@m8888888 Thanks a lot, I'll check it out. I am currently reading "Letting Go" by David Hawkins. Its been really helpful. Its interesting you say that because I often think about how chronic pain and anxiety could be the same mind body process and thus treated the same. At first it seems anxiety...

    Healed from chronic back pain

Hi all. I overcome debilitating back pain several years ago, but I want to post my experience in overcoming it so that I may help others experiencing the same confusing dilemma that is chronic pain. My back pain started at about 18 years of age, and was about a 3 year, highly stressful ordeal...
