I found a great PRT app that’s helping

Oh! I’ve seen her success story on Dan Buglio’s channel. She went through so much and still fully recovered from TMS. I’m totally going to download this app because I am so curious. Thank you for posting this resource!

    Bladder pain, extinguishing flare?

If you suspect your brain is trying to scare you back into having fear around your symptoms, why would you let it? You got this. You’ve made excellent progress. To the point that you’re in a big flare and you *know* it’s an extinction burst. Don’t give up now, this is a good sign in healing...

    Someone explain

I mean this with all the kindness in the world when I say, you need to chill the F out. I have seen you post a number of times and in every post you’re attacking leading authors in the mind body realm, calling their advice and processes bullshit and expressing yourself from a negative viewpoint...

Feeling worse after doing compassionate enquiry (Gabor mate)

Sometimes it’s not really about feeling the emotion. More often then not, it’s about showing your nervous system that feeling those emotions is safe to feel. Like negative emotions, they don’t feel good. Like you said they are heavy, they make you tired, that’s your body’s stress response...

    NIGHTMARE AS A LEARNED SYMPTOM

Sometimes I wake up having symptoms because of them lol but yeah, as soon as my physical symptoms started to calm down and I became less scared of them over time, o started having nightmares. To me, it’s a sign of healing and that my TMS work is doing its work.

    NIGHTMARE AS A LEARNED SYMPTOM

I just wanted to add my experience! When I began healing from my TMS symptoms, I started having crazy nightmares almost every night. It’s a symptoms of your subconscious working things out!

    I’m done

Sir, with all due respect, if you don’t believe in the “mumbo jumbo”, why are you here? If you don’t believe you can get better, then continue living how you’re living. You obviously ran out of other options. You went through the doctors? Went through the meds, went through different treatments...

    I’m done

@Mani, I see you. I hear you. I am so sorry you are going through this. I understand the desire to give up and honestly, if that’s how you’re feeling, give up on the techniques. For now. Stop doing mind body practices and simply allow yourself to just be. You aren’t the first person to have...

At what point is it best to give up?

It sounds to me like, even with doing the work, you may be only focusing on doing the work just to get out of pain and not truly finding the repressed emotions that need to be expressed. Also, it’s obvious that youre still very in fear of the symptoms which is what a TMS brain feeds off of to...

Symptoms resolved only thirty minutes after using medicated cream?

Yes! Exactly. This is one thing along my journey that I still sometimes grapple with which is the “all or nothing” approach where I, for some reason, am hard on myself if I employ things like using a cream to influence the placebo effect. I am currently healing from this in therapy but it...

Symptoms resolved only thirty minutes after using medicated cream?

I have a weird history with stuff like this happening. When I used to get chronic headaches, they’d go away ten minutes after taking ibuprofen or when I had knee pain, icy hot would relieve my symptoms completely in under 20 minutes. So this happening made me super suspicious too. My nervous...

Symptoms resolved only thirty minutes after using medicated cream?

Hello again! I am back with another question about the behaviors of TMS symptoms (although you would think by now that I would already know how this goes but when you’re in it, it’s hard to view it from a third party perspective), haha. okay, so. I am no stranger to TMS. I’m pretty sure I have...

    Pelvic Pain and Vaginal Burning.

I’m going to start out by saying that I had all of your symptoms at one point or another in my TMS journey. Secondly, I can tell by everything you’ve written that this is very likely TMS. Planning a wedding is stressful, getting married is stressful (even happy stress affects our nervous...
