Still dealing with pain, mental and physical

Sorry for being a negative Nancy, but I don't think there are affordable TMS psychologists. My regular Psychologist charges $100 and hour and gives me a deal because we are friends. I don't think a therapist is going to have the answers at this point. It's all I can do to ask myself 'why me' and...

    Not sure what I believe

So like most of us I've tried quite a few techniques to try and overcome this malady. Basically, for quite awhile I had the plan of not fighting TMS, just living my life and letting it run its course. One can try to hard to overcome TMS and since I had finished all the ground work I figured it...

Still dealing with pain, mental and physical

I'd love to see a TMS therapist but the only one nearby is quite expensive and accepts no insurance.

Why am I still in pain? Why doesn't it work?

Tried that to no real success.

    Negative thinking - pain remains

I would not recommend Eckhart Tolle as his teachings have their root in New Age movement, which when researched has its roots in the teachings of Satanists Aleister Crowley and Madham Blavatsky.

    Chronic epididymitis-TMS? HELP

Yep, this forum is great. So many people coming together with the same experiences and we can say in confidence that it is TMS and we all go through the same process of the tests, and the fear and confusion when everything comes back okay, the sleepless nights worrying about the pain, wondering...

    Chronic epididymitis-TMS? HELP

Hehe I went through it all man, worst time of my life. But it's gone now. I think it's just so scary and you can't get your mind off it so the pain continues to perpetuate itself. So glad that more and more people are discovering its TMS and being healed from this.

    Pain disappearing before PT appointment

Happened twice for me, when I would find a PT I had faith in the pain would move to a different part of my body. You have hope you will be healed so your mind creates a different problem.

    Nightmares as TMS?

Nightmares wouldn't be classified as TMS since TMS deals with muscular pain. That being said, Nightmares being associated with underlying emotions and the subconscious. Most assuredly. I have nightmares almost every morning as well. Dreams are your mind trying to figure things out. All of us...

    Chronic epididymitis-TMS? HELP

I'll be short since you've gotten a lot of feedback already. But I was healed of chronic groin pain as well. Let me know anytime if you have questions.

Pain in my forearms is back. Thought I was finally living pain free...

No problem, sorry your pain level is so high, but read Forrest's success story with RSI if you haven't. It may not go away once the exams are over, and it may make it difficult to study. But it will go away my friend. Let me know if you need links to Forrest's videos/posts.

Pain in my forearms is back. Thought I was finally living pain free...

As soon as you said final are next week, I was like 'yep, there's your problem' ' Pain always hits at high stress times. I just had a girl at work who was planning her daughters sweet 16 party and putting so much effort into it and the day before her back went out. It's textbook. I'm with Walt...

In such pain and conflicted about treatments

I am in the same boat you are. I would say don't try hardcore to overcome it. It's like pulling tighter on a chinese finger trap, it won't get you anywhere. I saw a video from a disabled child who said, "I don't concentrate on the things I can't do, I concentrate on the things I can do." That...

Still dealing with pain, mental and physical

My back pain has once again taken away one of the few activities I enjoy in life, which is playing the piano. Because of back pain and depression I had stopped playing for a few months, after moving though, instead of letting the piano sit in the corner I decided now that I had a nice large...
