    Hey guys,

Since a lot about this work is becoming more authentic and feeling emotions... which I already do, I ask myself if taking action on living the life in a way you want to life is also a way of healing ?

Like changing careers or taking risk in doing what you really want to do etc ?

I am probably asking if taking action in real life can help integrate the emotions or if it is just a purely "passive" thing in a sense that you allow doing meditations etc...

I struggle with cfs/long covid and because of the symptoms not able to work at the moment but having much better energy then when it started...

    Thank you !!

I believe that living the work is an essential part of healing. Dr Schubiner's training makes it clear that the last step of recovery is making life changes that bring purpose, joy, and stop filling the stress bucket.

At some point we have to "get off the cushion" as the Buddhists say and live the insights you have cultivated.

It sounds like you are in a great place to start living your life how you want it including taking more risks. I'm curious what you are wanting to do? I'm excited for you to begin a new chapter of a more fulfilling life!

For some people, yes, they desire a change of lifestyle and for some they need it.

I'm thinking about one person who discovered their false identity and changed their sexual identity, or @Sita and @Baseball65 who decided to have a change of location that serves them better. Dan Buglio and my TMS coach (who had CFS) changed professions but only after they had done the work to heal and to make changes not based on anxiety or impulsiveness but on the ability to make good sound choices because their heads were in a much better place.

I've tried making some lifestyle changes. Some work out, some I recognize I'm not ready for...and I have some long term goals for making changes as I get older..but for now I just concentrate on doing the work because my mind needs to be able to understand I can do this in whatever situation I find myself in.

Thank you very much for this response. I struggled a lot with ocd like thoughts also. Since I did the feeling allowing work. They are much less. But there is still fatique when doing to much mental activity or physically. I still need sleep and off time. But I also am able to work out once a week, as well as make short trips/holidays.

it still feels like my mind is not really clear on a lot of things and like there is „more“ to learn and understand before I can go.

On the other side I don’t see in which way a career that would suit me would look like. I don’t want to sit at an office desk for the rest of my life that’s sure.

I will explore this question further

I recognize a lot of what you said here as well in me. I also gained much more clarity in things. But still am a bit confused in others or general. Very interesting to read!

    thank you very much !!
