  • My Story

My shoulder began hurting before Covid. I sat a great deal trying to write a book that will never be published. I don't know if sitting caused my right side to continually spasm. I wondered if I have what Celine Dion has, stiff person syndrome as I have had no relief through scoliosis bracing for a year,
traction, bicycle riding, swimming, and minimal workouts to maintain muscle mass. I cannot do a bridge, my hip seems attached to my back, I am experiencing brain fog and find myself making poor cognitive decisions. Recently I hit someone in my car as I think I was having a vesovegal reaction where everything seemed surreal. I cannot to have the fog as well as intense grief wondering how much or badly I hurt someone.

I am scheduled for a pain relief shot in my L3-4 next week. This situation is affecting every aspect of my life including my marriage, work, relationships, ect. Days seem like months, minutes seem like hours.

Plus, now I am afraid to drive.
