YOU CAN RECOVER FROM CRPS, HEAR TAMARA GURIN'S STORY

Well known member
If you’re facing complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), neuropathic pain, or any chronic condition that feels impossible to solve, this episode is for YOU.

We’re honored to welcome Tamara Gurin—author, advocate, and survivor of CRPS. After being diagnosed in 2016, misdiagnosed with carpal tunnel, and offered only opioids, injections, or risky surgery, Tamara refused to accept a life defined by pain. Her turning point came when she discovered Dr. Sarno’s mindbody approach, which led her to full recovery.
She not only found her own path to healing, but went on to write the acclaimed book Defying The Verdict (translated into Spanish and Russian), and co-founded a resource-rich website to support others on the mindbody recovery path.

Special for our community:
The Kindle edition of Defying The Verdict will be FREE starting during the live broadcast tomorrow and available at no cost through September 21.

Thank you, Diana! I am following your journey and have my full faith that we will see your success story in due time!
That really makes me happy to hear you say that. Thanks, Tamara!

I watched the recording of this interview and it was great. I liked the part where you described “getting out past the breakers” when meditating. I can relate to that. I’ve been aiming for an hour a day. But I have been falling asleep sometimes. Did this ever happen to you?

I know that there is this opinion that falling asleep during meditation is bad and that even closing your eyes during meditation is somehow diminishing the value of it. In my opinion, sleep is another form of meditation. I don't think I ever achieved the highest level of enlightenment, which is meditation with the eyes open, but I still recovered! There is no such thing as bad meditation, as long as you spend quiet time with yourself.

@TG957 gave me hope when others said that if you don’t heal quickly, there is no hope.
Her book also revealed the layers of healing that can happen over time. It is honest and gives truth to both the struggles but teaches to celebrate the small victories. I count her story of recovery as one of my biggest inspirations, along with Doctor Tova’s ceaseless encouragement.

Thank you, @Cactusflower , I hope to see your report on your full complete recovery soon!
