When I first heard about the death of Lemmy from Moorhead the other day I was taken aback that he died so soon after diagnosis so the above linked to article does not really surprise me in the least. It really does go to show the power the mind can have over the body. On the other side of the coin I am reminded of the actor Sir Lawrence Olivier who was diagnosed with cancer and upon being told by the doctor replied "cancer? I'm far too busy making films and plays for cancer dear boy" and walked out of the surgery and carried on with his life as per normal and lived for years to come. Interesting stuff.
