Day 5 Write what you know

Today I’m asked to name an activity I like. There is one I love. It’s writing poetry, stories, articles and books. Sadly, that all came to a halt when I put my loved one’s health needs first. And no, I could not work it in for my state of mind became very much splintered over a protracted period.
That was then, and this is now so what is stopping me when the desire to create has at long last been reignited? Simply this: I cannot sit through the physical pain in my buttocks, lower spine and legs long enough to type a manuscript. And that sucks. Still, I have pushed through and accomplished a bit of editing on something I left unfinished. And each day I am practicing in earnest, the things that will heal my heart and thus, my mind and body.

Hello fellow writer!
I have the same thing except my hands are cramped up and I can’t type anymore. Luckily, my right hand is better than my left and I’m able to write long hand. At first, I felt like this was a punishment and that I would never write things this way, but I’m actually growing to love it. And I think of all the great books that were written with quill pens! ha ha ha! Just be determined that you will write somehow— no matter what— maybe even lying in bed and recording it. You never know! I’m learning that TMS is making me think outside the box and be determined not to be deprived of what I love.
