Hi, I’m in my thirties and since three years I’m struggling with undiagnosed symptoms.
I’ve seen several doctors and therapists (both western and alternative), went to psychotherapy, tried supplements etc. No treatment has brought lasting or immediate relief.

It started in summer 22 after shocking news from a dear friend. Since then I feel symptoms 24/7: not pain, but a constant discomfort, best described as like a never-ending hangover. Sometimes mild, sometimes unbearable.

By now I’m certain it’s TMS. I’ve watched and read a lot about TMS and nervous system regulation, I’m trying out all the tips: brain retraining, journalspeak, meditation, moments of joy, going outside etc. but so far nothing brought relief. It’s rough…

I can luckily still manage daily life, but it’s always very uncomfortable and I'm starting to lose my patience :(
I miss finding a peer group who understands.

Maybe there is someone here who relates?
Thanks for reading and best wishes to all!

Almost everybody on this forum has had similar experiences with their symptoms. Sometimes, it takes years to get rid of the symptoms, but what we are doing here is the only thing that really works, unlike opioids, SSRIs, nerve blocks, surgeries etc.... Be patient and keep working on it. It took me almost 2 years, but I am so glad this community helped me to stay focused and patient.
