Instead of going full hard on what I want to do. Anyone went slower? Like progressively?

Dan Buglio has plenty of success stories where people gradually reintroduce triggering activities. Desensitization is probably the most accurate way to describe it, it’s very commonly used in managing non human animal behavior issues and is just as applicable to us

From a TMS/Sarno perspective I think we are supposed to just get on with it.
If we aren't thinking about our symptoms, it's hard for them to hold us back.

Not push hard. Not hold back. Just be.

Except of course if we are physically ill with a diagnosed condition and under doctor's care, which I don't think is what we are talking about here.

I did little for the first year of my journey, then a lot for 2 years+ , and then the last 1-2 years+ barely anything - only behavioral changes(facing fear, not caring about being so nice and fair) and thinking differently(the brain can potentially produce any symptom) which are really just changes in myself that will continue forever. My wrist pain started to decrease after a year in and it never changed its recovery rate for the next 4 years+ (other body parts were involved but story is too long) regardless of doing a ton of work or a little. For me it was like my brain flipped a switch and started changing whatever it was changing to lead to my eventual recovery.

Listen and honor yourself but don't discontinue the work. You can take it at your own pace.
