It's funny, just yesterday I was thinking about making a post asking if it was okay to take breaks. I'd had to focus on other things Saturday, and yesterday, I spent most of the day with my mother and most of my evening relaxing. I felt bad about missing journalling and the TMS program for two days, and then came online today to find that Day 7 was about taking breaks.
I'm assuming it's alright if I freestyle how I take the breaks a bit. I mean, in the sense that I didn't journal yesterday or the day before, so I'm going to journal today, even though today's "day" is the break- I took my breaks yesterday.
I'd guess that they just structured it like this so that the "Type A" person who does this program, and militantly wants to recover, is forced to take a break even if they didn't want to. But knowing that taking breaks is important, and I can miss a day or two here or there and be fine, is very good to hear.
