Sound therapy to heal your nervous system

    I ran into this by accident and tried it. It’s Tibetan bowls. I put on head phones, closed my eyes and listened for the full hour. It’s beautiful! It honestly felt amazing. My whole body calmed down. I’m going to try this on a regular basis.

    Then I looked up what singing bowls do for you and found this:
    “Singing bowls affect the nervous system through the calming effect of their resonant sounds and vibrations, which can stimulate the vagus nerve, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and promote alpha and theta brainwaves, leading to relaxation. This can help reduce stress, anxiety, and inflammation by shifting the body into a "rest-and-digest" state.”

    I like the Healing Vibrations channel (youtube and on Insight Timer) - frequency healing. Incidentally, later Beatles records are all recorded on a healing and calming frequency. After the Beatles found transcendental meditation and introduced it to others, eg. Brian Wilson - he also used this frequency on many of his mid-later Beach Boys recordings.
