Back in 2016, I went down the rabbit hole of chronic pelvic pain. I think my old posts cover the whole story, but thanks to this forum and realizing it was a mind-body issue, I was able to reach what I consider complete recovery.
I've been shifting emails and noticed I'd got some notification from a followed thread. Decided to log back in.

If you're wondering if some people on here just get better, and that's why they're not posting, I'm one of them! I remember spending hours online each day trying to figure out what was wrong with me and wondering how certain stories ended. Mine is I got better!

I suppose when I do face some health issues, I do stop to think "Is this a mind-body pain issue?", many once or twice a year, but it's usually over minor transitory issues. I guess I accept that my brain can hallucinate pain, but it's something that I can catch early. I'm happy to say I haven't experienced any chronic pelvic pain since at least 2017, and that was fairly mild and easily addressed.

If you're reading this, and working through things yourself, I hope my story gives you some hope. I know reading the experiences of others back in 2016 gave me a lot of hope, and helped me get better.

Hi , I want to congratulate you, and how lucky you were to get out of that desperate situation so quickly. If I had known at the time when you were suffering from these pains that you would get out so easily, you wouldn’t have believed it, but you did it, you were skilled. Your experience helps me a lot because I read that it hurt even to your feet, and obviously, the pudendal nerve doesn’t reach the feet, and I have the same problem. So it gives me hope. Sending you a greeting. Thank you for sharing your experience.

@c90danwaiel, that's a familiar name! This is great to hear, and thank you so much for dropping in and posting this Success update!

Folks, it's easy to review past postings, as @nerviopudendo has already figured out. Simply click on the user's avatar, go to their profile page, and click on the Postings tab. If there are a lot, sometimes it's helpful to go to the bottom of the first page and choose the link "all threads started by..." so you can see just the original threads by the member.

    Thanks again, @c90danwaiel!
