Morning anxiety.
I live my life as normally as I can.Every 2nd day I take my dog to the dog park 15kms away and because there are seats there I can walk as far as I am able.Other days I socialise with fellow resort dwellers or go into town for a coffee.I have had spondylolisthesis and vertigo.I saw a neurosurgeon 2years ago who wanted to operate but I decided not to go ahead with it.The pain has definitely lessened but because of where I live -a hilly country township I have difficulty walking any distance because my hips and lower back muscles are tight and I become fatigued and short of breath.I have mentioned this to my GP over the last year and he tells me I am not fit.(I am 76)I do have sleep apnoea and my SPO2 levels were low 4years ago in another state.
Should I insist my GP sends me to a respiratory physician or not?
Also I have developed morning anxiety but it soon abates when I get up.Is this normal?
