    Hello,

I’ve been doing TMS work throughout the day (mainly allowing, EFT for allowing and meditation and every once in a while a vagus nerve stimulator. I don’t focus on these a lot during the day maybe an hour or less but I’ve recently started to get insane tremoring/shaking while laying down either watching TV or going to bed. I know some consider this like an energy release but I wanted to know if anyone else has gotten this and did it show benefits or did it go away after a certain time. I’ve had this happening for almost a week and a half now.

Yes, I’ve had this for years, and yes, it’s a release of tightness, muscles, energy etc and is normal. Mine comes and goes and is a nice indicator of how much tension my body is holding during the day.
During the day I take moments to remind myself to take a few very long exhales to relax, to lower shoulders, maybe flex my feet or to stretch (Qui Gong is my favorite method of gentle stretching through simple and relaxing movement). I think we simply create a habit of holding our bodies in tense positions as we try to steel ourselves against our emotional world…it can simply take time to release.

It's also a good sign that the Symptom Imperative is at work, which means your TMS brain mechanism is being forced to work harder to try to keep you in fear. In other words, you're doing good work, and you just need to reassure your poor primitive brain that you're perfectly safe.

    Keep it up!

    Hi there,
I’ve had this for a year or so, and it is weird and disconcerting. But, I’ve been working hard on soothing my hyper-sensitized nervous system, and it has slowly faded and is mostly gone now. What helped me the most was Hope and Help for Your Nerves, by Claire Weekes. Also, meditation on a consistent basis —for an hour a day, if possible. It takes time.
