I've been a little busy recently and had a few days off the SEP. Coming back to it last night and tonight and the focus is on self care. I took some time to think about it and had a chuckle when one of the prompts said that the gym doesn't count, lol. Tonight for some reason, I got thinking about happy memories from my early childhood. My brother and sister and I would go to the local pools all day and jump off the high dive board, play on the trampoline and swim in the pool. I have such good memories of this time (over the course of several years and summers), and thinking about going there made me think of the music at the time, it was a lot of top 40 pop from the 80's. You would definitely call them retro songs now! I just made a playlist and playing the music and thinking about those times brought back a lot of happy emotions. I'm going to experiment with happy music and memories to help counteract some of the negative thoughts that play in my head. As much as it brings me some sort of short term pleasure to play out how people have wronged I'm sure it's not helpful in the least!

I love this idea!!! :D Good find, Mando! Thanks for sharing. Some of my happiest memories are at the pool in my youth and with my kids later. I get it.

Hah, a lot of my favorite memories from childhood and onwards involve all kinds of bodies of water and activities. There's something about water...
