    Hi everyone!

I’ve posted here before about some anal discomfort and TMS, and I really appreciate all the helpful advice I’ve received—thank you so much!

Sometimes I struggle to fully trust the TMS explanation—maybe my brain just looks for doubts. I wanted to reach out again for opinions, and it would be wonderful if anyone has personal experiences to share.

As I mentioned before, I often feel some uncomfortable sensations down there, like a light burning or other symptoms. When I take a picture of the area, it sometimes looks a bit red, which could indicate some irritation or inflammation.

From my own experience, I notice that when I’m busy, distracted, or in a good mood, the symptoms are much less noticeable—sometimes barely there at all. But the feelings keep coming back, and seeing the redness sometimes makes me worry that it might be a physical problem.

Do you think TMS could cause this type of symptom? Any insights, experiences, or advice would mean a lot!

I would recommend getting it checked out by a doctor. It’s always important to rule out any possible physical causes, as this can also help you feel more confident in the TMS approach, if they don’t find anything to explain the sensations and redness.

that the thing, that the doctors just says there is nothing wrong but...some say some inflammation, some say high muscle tone, not a big deal...
prescribing this and that cream that won't help much etc...

    Alright.

    To answer your other question:
Yes, the brain is capable of generating virtually any type of sensation. I’ve also come across many cases where people have recovered from unexplained rashes, so redness could indeed be related to TMS, as far as I know.

I would recommend you try this approach and see where it takes you.
