I think it's clear to me that something's going on with my feet being numb. The journaling really seems to help. I feel better overall since I've started doing it.

I guess you could say my only doubt about the program is that not that long ago I had Guillain-Barre syndrome. If you don't know what that is, basically your immune messes up your nervous system. Because of that my hands and legs below my knees became numb. I'm still recovering from it. Doctors said I'll make a full recovery, but with the numbness in my feet to begin with, I'm wondering if I'll know if doing the program gets rid of the numbness from TMS.

    Whatever. I'll find out. :)

Just noticed the "Question To Ponder"...

There is someone in my life that I hide my emotions from. The problem is that person is a big part of why I have TMS.

I'm not sure how to deal with this.

Start by doing a ton of journaling about this. Try to learn why this is. Step two would be to get your actions to match your feelings. If this person makes you angry, for example, stop stuffing it. If you need more space from them, get it. Your symptoms are a message that something in your life is intolerable to you, but you’re currently overriding it.

You wouldn't be the only one. For me, I set a boundary with this person. I didn't want to cut them out of my life but knew I could not let the relationship continue the way it was. That's been about 8 months ago and the boundary is working. I've also accepted the fact that they may never change. You will have to figure out what works for you and how you want the relationship to look like.
