Hey community!
Yesterday was great - on day 2 of the SEP I completed the Program Commitment form and I set yesterday, 6/30/15, as the date I would do my favorite walk that I used to do weekly. It's about a 3 mile walk from Manhattan and over the Williamsburg bridge. I was a bit anxious, but I used all the tools I've been learning, mostly self talk, and I did it! I did have some pain here and there, but the walk was great and I enjoyed it. Last night I felt amazing and I awoke this morning feeling even better, although a little sore considering I hadn't done that walk in over 6 months (but not sore in the area of my TMS, so that's a real good sign!).
I really think it's setting in and everyday it seems the fear is diminishing. I'm going to set the goal of doing that same walk once a week! I am SOOOOO grateful for this website, this community and this program...it really is changing my life. Who'd of thunk that journaling was the answer???? Wow, simply amazing.
