Day 24 Positivity

I had to think a bit on this one. Positive things that have happened during the program. Well you all saw my opposite of positive yesterday. I think the biggest thing has been finding play and little moments again. Most mornings I wake up pretty low but I wanted just a small fun moment the other day. We have a water room style bathroom with toilet and stall shower in our bedroom, his and her sinks and garden tub outside it. My fiance has the habit of not closing the door when he pees. The other morning I grabbed the squirt bottle I use to wet my hair and sprayed him in the back. Probably could have backfired if he peed everywhere.

I also always loved my PS2 most of all systems. I was bummed when I hooked it up the other day and it didn't work. But I bought another one and I'm taking fun time to play some of my old favorites. The newer systems we have are great but nostalgia is awesome.

I’m learning to laugh again, too and what a tonic it can be! When at my worst, nothing was funny. As I have been healing slowly, but more surely now, I’m enjoying the simple things again and if you will just keep working at it, these moments you described will come more often for you! I love the pee imagery!

Rusty, I love the image of you squirting the water bottle! Because as we get sicker with TMS, we get really crabby and grouchy. We lose our fun side!!! This is great! just a little glimmer of who you really are was showing.
