Day 19 Personality traits

Steef177

Peer Supporter
Looking back at my journal entries last week, the most prevalent theme is a constant sense of internal pressure. My traits of over-responsibility, perfectionism, and being a goodist make me feel as though I always have to adapt to external expectations rather than listen to my inner compass.

This creates a chronic feeling of tension and alertness, where rest brings guilt and mistakes feel unacceptable and not like a learning experience. I notice that I become quiet or small when I’m corrected, even when I don’t agree, and frustration often turns inward rather than being expressed.

Underneath this pressure, I recognize emotions such as suppressed anger, sadness, and fear of disappointing others. Becoming aware of how these traits disconnect me from myself has helped me understand how they contribute to both my emotional stress and physical symptoms. This awareness is helping me move toward setting healthier boundaries and allowing myself to be more authentic.

Today was my first day in months/years that I've had no pain while sitting in a chair gaming, which is quite the achievement.

You are gaining phenomenal insight! You’re really doing a great job of studying what happens internally for you. It doesn’t surprise me at all that you earned a pain free day. You are really on your way! Congrats!!!
