It's true that I get impatient when I feel like someone is heading in the wrong direction. I apologize.
Perfectly fine, i didnt mean to be dismissive. Information helps people heal, as much as anything else, I would suggest its the most underrated thing, knowing other people have recovered from what you have allows you to let go. I am 100% anti medical intervention, believe me on this.It's true that I get impatient when I feel like someone is heading in the wrong direction. I apologize.
Thanks but I would let John answer for himself please, ive searched long and hard for this information and his information is more important to me than your opinion .
ANd yes i have read it all and recovered from everything except seb derm. So please dont fall foul to the same attitude as those on reddit. It becomes a form of fascism like any other.
I know she didn't say rosacea cause she didnt say 1 word but I didn't care to listen to what she was going to diagnose me with. She never mentioned systemic inflammation to me but that had to be what I had because I didn't have typical seborrheic dermatitis where huge flaky chunks are relegated to hair near hair follicles. My flaky skin was mainly on my nose and my redness was mainly on my cheeks and some parts of my torso. I had pain and itching everywhere but redness, pain, itching are all symptoms of skin inflammation and I already had inflammation in my ears so that's what I figure it was.
I ate sugar every day. I never cared about what I was eating aside from keeping calories low so I dont get fat. I eat a lot of everything now cause I run and I will eat 1000-1500 calories of sugar at parties no problem.
@JohnDellatto
I have seb derm on the face and it isnt hugely flaky. It feels oily ish on the face and in the folds next to the nose etc. it does seem yours was more likely this than rosacea based on what i experience, it doesnt always just go for scalp and eyebrows, ears are common and groin and chest, neck etc. You didnt get it in the eyebrows or hair or ears at all then? Sorry to be a pain, i was very hopeful i'd found some good evidence for this condition for a second, feeling less confident now. But i do appreciate you answering it was very kind
Yea np I like answering questions. I remember reading about this condition and checking my hair and I didn't have it near my hair or eyebrows. I know you're trying to find someone else who had the same stuff as you which is exactly what I did and what many people do. I didn't want to give you false hope and tell you that's what I had. There has to be success stories with that condition out there.
