As I watched this recent interview with Oprah on Bloomberg Network, I admired the way she views life and how that can help a person avoid tension and pain.

Oprah has trained herself to
  1. Let go of the past, whether good or bad
  2. Be happy, grateful, and content with the present
  3. Work toward a better future
You can watch her interview here.

Thanks Fred. I watched the complete interview. Your synopsis of her message is on target. There are few, if any, like Oprah.

I never watched many of her shows, actually very, very few, but worked with many who watched her shows regularly. I was never attracted to the talk shows that 'got into' someone's psyche, (so to speak). Over the years I have given my avoidance of her shows some thought, wondering what it said about me. Yet, I find Oprah fascinating in her drive, and ultimately in her successes in so many ventures. She is very impressive and to be admired for her happiness (as she admitted on the show). I can only wish her well in her next ventures.
