Hi Everyone,
For day 8 SEP suggested to share progress so far. I have had some mild relief from symptoms for very short periods of time. Eczema feels like an elastic condition that can come and go so quickly. It was difficult to not attend to the improvement and feel accomplishment as I was afraid of the return to a more intense state. I've found that the calmer my state of mind is, the less attention I give to the symptoms - I actually feel like I don't care about what it looks like, feels like or what others think - and that's when the symptoms calm...even if for 1/2 a day. My attitude during those times is 'I'm fed up with you! I'm just going to ignore you and do whatever I want!' It's this attitude that seems to help since I started this program. However, it's a moment of that upset feeling and then I let go and feel at ease. Meditation, reading, and affirmations keep me going each day.
Thanks for listening, Tanya
p.s. I include 'eczema' in each thread topic in the hopes that when others with similar symptoms do a search they can find these posts easily and maybe they may be of some help and comfort
