Hi there — can anyone speak to Morton’s neuroma, and if it is TMS?

I successfully worked through a TMS flare up in December, with pain in my feet that I attributed to plantar fasciitis. The pain went away when, as the pain came on, I said to myself “what would I be thinking about now if I wasn’t focused on the pain?”

Shortly after that, I started to notice an odd sensation during my runs, as if my sock was bunched up around my toes and the balls of my feet. The Internet says this is a common symptom of Morton’s Neuroma. Does anyone have experience with this, and if so, is it TMS?

So essentially you have some sensations in your feet, and you have self-diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma?
I suggest before you delve any further into trying to self-diagnose your symptoms and go down needless rabbit holes, you just go see a doctor and get it checked out.
If you are having the same type of thought patterns, anxiety etc. about these sensations as you've had towards other TMS symptoms and "worked through it" why not begin doing the same sort of work now - even if it is physical because nobody needs any extra stress and anxiety right now :)

You would also be simply ahead of the game. If it's not anything physical, you've already started the work and are trying to settle another flare.

I agree fully with Cactusflower. I would also add what is said about Morton's neuroma by the experts in the TMS diagnostic guide:

"If the presence of a neuroma cannot be confirmed or pain persists despite treatment, then assessment for [TMS] should be done as part of a complete evaluation for foot pain which has many causes".

That is to say, definitely get it checked out by a doctor/specialist first! :) But as said above, it's never a bad thing to do emotional work and that is always beneficial.
