Hi all,
I just wanted to share as I haven't been on here for a while (for good reasons!)
I am doing so much better. My flares have reduced massively from daily to not back up to the 10/10 flares.
My daily pain has turned down to few hours rather than 24/7.
My pain symptoms (neck, shoulder, back and headaches) have decreased in intensity and range from 'itchiness' to mild.
More importantly, I've started playing netball without fear. Riding without fear and I'm back at the gym without fear.
Fear was a massive driver for me, I'm not saying its completely eliminated but I'm definitely more hopeful and generally more positive about life which has made a massive difference.
I'm doing better working on myself away from the Forum but I want to keep checking back in here for hope for others.
I was convinced I'd never even get to this point (I was hung up on my injuries being structural), having stayed in bed, having decided that I'd never be able to travel or see friends again. I do it despite of symptoms now, and if my mindset is positive I can do anything.
