Hi all! I'm not new to TMS. About 2 months ago I started getting some pain in the groin area, on the left side. I felt that this is a TMS issue, and kept on exercising. The pain went away within a few days. It did come back on the right side. Then it went away from the right side and came back to the left side. But this time it never went away. I am now upset that it has been about 6 weeks that I'm having pain when when I'm walking / running.
I went to a physical therapist and he said that it is a tendon that's causing the problem.
Now I'm second-guessing the whole idea that this is TMS. However some of the stimuli that would have triggered this is still somewhat present.
So my question to all of you is have any of you had this type of situation where it is TMS related however it doesn't go away or it takes many many weeks to go away. In past instances it went away within days or maybe one week.
Your thoughts and encouragement will be greatly appreciated!

Yes. I was once jogging and I really wrenched my leg bad. I had a ton of pain in the groin area and assumed I had a groin pull. I limped around in pain for 2 months and then finally went to the Dr. when I could take it no longer. He ordered an MRI. I had to wait another month to get the MRI so now I'm limping around for 3 months in lots of pain which is also waking me up at night. At last t I had the MRI and it had no findings and the pain went away that day I got the report. So in the end it was TMS and took months to go away. But for me it took some evidence to say that nothing was wrong with me for this particular situation. And it was some of the worst pain I have ever had, I mean drop me to the floor bad. And yet there was no actual injury. Funny what our minds can do.
