Learning to live in the present

This is the topic of today's program, practicing "being here now", in small daily tasks, doing ordinary things like brushing my teeth, doing dishes.... enjoying that exquisite mouthful of dark chocolate! The whole idea is that if I pay attention to "now", I am not repressing emotions triggered from the past, nor am I stressing and becoming anxious about the future. After my journaling tonight, I found a wonderful related article on a friend's FB about how meditating can help http://blogs.hbr.org/bregman/2012/10/if-youre-too-busy-to-meditate.html. So much wonderful help out here!

"Being here now" I really like what you wrote. This is a big one for me too and I love the meditation article. I have passed it along to friends. Thanks for sharing. Sandy
