When was the last time you exercised or did another physical activity? What was this activity?

Despite having chronic fatigue, I still manage to get some exercise in. It's mostly just walking though. I walk 2-3 miles every couple of days, one way or another, since I live in a city. Sometimes I even walk for recreation while listening to a podcast.

The fact that I do manage to get this little bit of exercise in without having improvement can contribute to my doubts of whether I have TMS. However, walking obviously isn't strenuous exercise.

With that said, over the past year, I've still done a few things that are physical activities. I rowed a kayak, and played a volley ball-like game at the beach, both last summer. Those things definitely would fall under exercise, and while I managed to do them, they both tired me out terribly.

How did it make you feel physically and emotionally?

When going on walks, I tend to feel pretty good. That, conversely, does make me think I could have TMS; when I am distracted and out and about walking somewhere, I tend to feel decent. Therefore, it could be that when my mind truly gets off the fatigue, I do better.

Doing more strenuous physical activities, though, does definitely cause my fatigue to flare, sometimes for a period of a few days.

Yes! Walking is so good for you and it tends to help my pain as well. It sounds like you have a good handle on what works for you right now.
