Just finished Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers

Holy long book and highly scientific. The word glucocorticoid will lose all meaning. But the premise is our stress leads to disease because our bodies have time to sit with it and generate physical responses to it. A zebra running from a lion is just "NEED TO SURVIVE" and then it's over.

It was actually pretty fascinating the work he has done with baboons in Africa, for a long period of time!

I saw this being read in a film the other day and added it to my list!

I read this book before my major TMS episode, and it was my stepping stone to understanding the TMS concepts. Because of his book, I grasped the Sarno's theory right away. Sapolsky is also a very inspiring lecturer, and you can find his Stanford lectures on YouTube. Highly recommend!
