Hi All,

Just curious what you would do if you were in my situation!

I am not married and currently taking care of my 90 year old Mother!

I currently travel almost 3 hours for a 4.5 hour job! Unfortunately the job market where I currently live which is elderly people community is horrible.

The problem is I have sciatica pain and trying to go to work and travel just part time and taking care of my Mom is taking a toll on me.

I am not sure if I should quite and stay home in hopes that I will heal or continue to travel and try to take care of her.

The wear and tear of my car is also taking it's toll...If I quite work I will no in come expect for my Mom's Social Security...Things would be tight...

Any advise would be helpful!

Kalo

I would keep looking for a new job, but not leave your current job cause then you are letting it win by giving up something. However nothing wrong with looking, it will give you something to do and keep your mind busy so it doesnt focus on the pain.
