B BloodMoon Beloved Grand Eagle Jun 2, 2021 #2 Hi @jerryg, I had a look at the ISTDP websites that list therapists and couldn't find anyone in Illinois, but on another thread someone mentioned that Catherine Lockwood does "video sessions", and she's listed as a trained ISTDP therapist on this profile page https://www.tmswiki.org/ppd/Survey_Response:_Catherine_Lockwood,_MA,_MFT (Survey Response: Catherine Lockwood, MA, MFT). I believe that with ISTDP it's important for the therapist and client to be able to actually see each other during sessions, so I guess sessions by FaceTime or Zoom or whatever would be the next best thing. (Other than that, Kristian Nibe has written a self help ISTDP book; this is his website which has a lot of substantial excerpts from his book https://kristiannibe.com/reconnect-to-your-core-a-self-help-guide/ (Reconnect to your Core - A self-help guide. - Kristian Nibe)) I hope you find someone suitable.
