    Hey guys,

I hope that everyone is doing well and is remaining hopeful within their healing journey. This is my first post so I'll give a short introduction as to why I know I have TMS and what the things are that I have been dealing with and how it sort of started without it being too graphic lol.

As a young kid from home I have been a do gooder, perfectionistic and very people pleasing as well as just this super anxious and fearful type of person. I started experiencing strange symptoms over the years like joint aches/unstable feeling in the joint, gut issues and you name it. It was all very subtle at first however. I started to notice all of this maybe 5 or 6 years ago when I was eating dinner at work I was experiencing these leaky gut type issues yet I had no idea what it really was. I would eat fried food and experience this achey feeling in my spine and I was like "huh". It kept happening and I have always recognized patterns quite well and been very health concious, especially after the loss of a parent this became almost OCD like.

Life went on, I kept training, living life going to University, working the same part time job that I had worked at when all of a sudden I started getting many many weird symptoms this year around May/June. It was a peak stressful period stacked on top of other life circumstances since I had to finish my thesis. I finished it, graduated yet my symptoms kept getting worse and worse. I didn't know what was going on, I was in so much physical pain, my face, inner ears and jaws caused me a lot of discomfort on top of this neck pain too and other weird symptoms.

I was scattered, didn't know what was going on, I figured it was mold-toxicity since I grew up ( still am lol ) in a moldy home and bedroom and had to remove mold for a large part of my life from our home. Tried so many supplements, my room is a fricking pharmacy at this point LOL. The supplements seemed to help but not really, since I still kept going and lol.

3 or 4 months in to this, I stumbled upon a post on the mold subreddit there that was about TMS. Nobody actually liked it or had commented on it, I figured I would check it out. Shortly after I dived deep into TMS and am very grateful to the guy that made that post and we're still in contact right now. It has been exactly 1 month since I discoverd TMS and I have made a lot of progress thank the Lord but I am not quite there yet but progressing day by day and trying to live my life to the best of my ability and actually enjoying playing video games again which is a huge win for me

I have 1 question for the community however, all of these other symptoms I can accept right now with utmost certainty as TMS, the clarity is there, since it doesn't make sense that symptoms shift otherwise. I know my brain causes it, however I have another weird symptoms that came upon around the same time that is like this croaking, frog noises and air bubbling from my stomach whenever I inflate and deflate my belly or inhale and exhale. It's quite weird and I don't know what to make of it. I figure it's maybe like an air bubble but Idk for certain. I am sort of worried that it's caused by taking all of these supplements that I took when I was really suffering in the peak of these symptoms. I ceased all supplements except for 2 things that genuinely do give me a sense of safety since a few days now. I believe that is also helping me heal since I am not programming my mind rn like I am a sick person by taking like 20 pills a day and 10 different powders LOL

Just some other information that might help give some clarity if it's possibly TMS for someone that knows about this, is that I do not experience any physical discomfort, basically no feeling of acid reflux, I am experiencing a lackluster appetite that is basically not there for a large part of the day even with activity. No stomach growling anymore too. I burp alot after eating too, and there is some flatulence as well, but nothing too crazy... :hungry::hungry:

I had a call yesterday with a gut microbiome specialist, (I already had the appointment planned before I discovered TMS so I just went ahead with it) and everything in the gut microbiome is fine and even great basically.

However I told her about the croaking noise and I let her hear it and she told me she had never experienced or heard anything like this in her 20 years or so of practice and she was a GP too. I dunno what to make of that, whether that is discouraging or kinda worrying or possibly even good news :hungover::hungover:

I figured I should plan a GP appointment, and will see my GP next week wednesday, just to rule out anything structural. I believe even structural things can heal fully, but I just want some clarity for now because I do notice how much I am worrying again about this symptom subconciously and even conciously lol. It's also genuinely hilarious how my mind and brain has now turned it's focus away from the other symptoms since they're basically healed and mostly gone to this gut thing with all the limelights right on it :hungry:

Much love you guys, I hope I can hop on here more often and possibly share some of my experiences with you and thank you for reading this!!! tiphatatiphata

    Hi, @Emin_1998,

The croaking, frog-like noises and air bubbling sensations from the stomach area when inflating or deflating the belly or during breathing could have several benign explanations, though it’s understandable they feel strange and worrying. Common possibilities include:

    • Gastrointestinal Air or Gas Movement: Sounds and sensations like bubbling or croaking often come from gas or air moving through the stomach and intestines, which is generally normal but can be more noticeable with changes in digestion, diet, or supplement intake.
    • Stomach or Intestinal Motility: Altered or heightened gut movements (peristalsis) sometimes cause unusual sounds or sensations, especially if digestion is affected by stress, anxiety, or supplements.
    • Air Swallowing (Aerophagia): Sometimes anxiety or hyperawareness leads to more air being swallowed, which can result in audible bubbly or croaking noises.
    • Supplement Effects: Some supplements can alter gut flora or motility, potentially increasing gas production or changing normal digestive sounds.

In the absence of pain, reflux symptoms, or other major digestive issues—and with a gut microbiome specialist confirming healthy gut flora—these symptoms are often not indicative of serious structural issues. However, the general advice on these forums is to get medically checked out before assuming that symptoms are solely mind/body/TMS, so it's good that you're going to see your GP to rule out any underlying causes and to gain reassurance.

Thank you very much for the reply BloodMoon. I do agree that since there is no pain or anything I shouldn't really worry about it... It's just my mind goes all OCD on 1 symptom as soon as another one goes and this one is on the foreground again now lol. Really cool username btw :D
