It's funny how you can fall into the old habits even after having amazing success from this process.
About 10 years ago, this site and Dr Sarno's book healed me from years of back pain. I had tried everything and was on the brink of surgery when I heard Howard Stern talk about "The Mind Body Prescription." I had tried everything else so why not try this. I did not want surgery so this was an easy decision. As I was reading the book, my back pain magically jumped to my knee. All of a sudden, my back pain was gone but my knee was killing me. Instantly, I became a believer.
I devoured this TMS Wiki website and was cured for many years. Even today, my back pain rarely flares up and when it does, I don't think twice about it.
But for some reason, I have fallen back into the trap that something must be structurally wrong with me in other body parts. Lately, my right shoulder has been feeling impinged, my left arm has tingling nerve pain all the way into my fingers, and then my left knee starts throbbing one morning for no good reason. I went to the doctor, they recommended PT, EMG nerve conduction studies, etc, etc. Luckily I remembered about TMS Wiki. I'm starting the structured education program again and can't wait for the positive effects to take hold.
Thank you to anyone who reads this. I'm a believer in this process - I just forgot about for a minute...but I'm Back!
