I love to go hiking in Hocking Hills. It's a beautiful place in all seasons and the cabins are nice, especially with a hot tub. I have some negative memories associated with it because I spent time there with my ex husband but I still love it. It's peaceful and gorgeous and you can just disconnect from the rest of the world.
Unfortunately I can't get away to do it as a single parent and fiance. My mom lives with me but I can't really trust her anymore to stay alone with him. I would never relax because I would constantly worry she wouldn't handle an emergency. My fiance also wouldn't be too good with a solo vacation for myself.
There isn't a way for me to do this activity this week but I would like to find a way soon. The family takes so much from me and I should be able to have time for me.
