I need help...

Hello!

I can happily report that the appointment with the hematologist went swimmingly. Everything is totally fine, and the levels that did show have absolutely nothing to do with my muscle/limb pain. I'm stoked. I've been off the forum for a bit in anticipation of this appointment, but no more. As a former professor of mine used to say at the end of each class: Onward!

Best,
Steve

Curious to know, was there any change in your pain and/or the way you viewed your pain after the blood results news ?

Yes. Definitely. I feel like my pain greatly diminished for a majority of that day actually, and I even worked (I am a waiter) with minimal discomfort. Yesterday was very encouraging, as well. My mind has tried latching onto irrational "what if" thoughts again, but there is absolutely no basis for them. I've been told by so many doctors over the years that I am fine. So I am fine.

I went out and played handball yesterday for the second time in two weeks. The day after the first time I played I was in tons of pain. Today, I am definitely sore and in pain, but not to the degree that I was last week. Patience and persistence!

Tremendous. That's what I was hoping for you.
