The part of the daily exercise that asked me to journal was where I ended Day 6, never picking up my pen until tonight. I was not procrastinating, I was avoiding. The first journaling endeavor lasted a while. Many tears later, the sad feelings continued throughout the night, so even though I knew I had done meaningful work, I was loathe to tackle another hard subject so quickly. But tackle I must, and did, just a day late. As expected, journaling Day 6 was a repeat performance of Day 5. But that’s what I came here to do. As painful as those subjects of writing were, tears cleanse the soul. If I write enough truth, and cry me a river, my pain will eventually subside. As to what I was supposed to post, be it known that I have no doubts that my pain is generated by my mind, none whatsoever.
