For the last 8 years, I have not been exercising the way that feels like exercise to me - a yoga teacher, personal trainer, and former competitive athlete.
But just today, I got on my bicycle to bike around on this sunny day to the park. And nothing happened that usually happens. My knee didn't lock up, I didn't have significant fear, and I didn't feel anxious.
I felt more than alive. I felt like myself. I am so grateful to be able to create a post like this one, for if it had been only a few weeks ago, it would have been much more pessimistic, hopeless, and sad. And that same post would have been similar to any that I could have made in the past 8 years. I am so happy to see my life coming back. I know TMS is my diagnosis - I mean, what the hell else would it be after all these years?! Thank you
