Helenback day one

Helenback, so glad you are here!

I am slowly doing the SEP and I am learning alot about how to heal and why I have tms and/or equivalents. Spend some time reading threads here and you will find wisdom, encouragement and insights into yourself. There is hope, healing and laughter. Opening up here has actually helped me feel things I know I have feelings about, but couldn't get to while journaling. I think because it was going out to real people, rather than sitting hidden in my drawer.

I hope what you need you also find. So many different people here, but they are getting better! Thats the proof.

Thank you for your encouragement.i already felt a shift..last night, I was finally able to sleep on my left side.i haven't been able to do that in over 2years. I have recently divorced my alcoholic Husband and know that I have been repressing a lot of rage/ anger.from 5 years of constant crisis management. He is gone but the anxiety and anger are still here.To quote Dr Sarno's book " we repress anger that violates our image of ourselves" That's me to a "T". This can't be happening to me.Not on my watch. I used every bit of energy I had to save my marriage. No Doctor could diagnose my condition.I was sent to a arthritis specialist, orthopedic surgeon, pain management Ctr, PT, Chiro's .5 years of unknown pain and thousands of dollars later.I stumbled upon Dr Sarno.. At last I have HOPE!
