I can't tell you how much these daily meditations have helped me in my journey to become whole. I thought I would share them with others on this forum. I generally find that, whatever I am struggling with at the moment, the daily meditation gives me the answer to what I need answered or the truth I need to see in the moment. I hope they can be of some help to others. I will try to find time to post one everyday. Here are some examples from this week:
"Any thought telling you 'it can't be done' is only as convincing
as you're willing to be held captive by its lie. Getting started --
with whatever it may be -- is as simple as remembering that
there's nothing in the universe that can stop you from taking
the first step."
"Once we realize that what makes any moment seem impassable is
nothing more than our own resistance to what it asks of us --
nothing remains impossible. To the one who persists, everything
eventually yields."
"A quiet mind, patient hands, and contented heart are gifts given
freely to those who forgo trying to become 'great' in favor of
doing the soul work it takes to realize that the Greatness they
seek is the very core of their being."
"Nothing is more empty of higher possibilities than a mind filled
with resistance to the revelation of life."
"Nothing we spend our lives struggling to take from this world
has the power to grant us the one thing we long to possess above
all else: our own true nature."
Painful Worry is Nothing But Wasted Time
"The only thing that worrying does is waste the time and energy
you need to shed light on that painful sense of self that exists
only for as long as it has something to worry over."
"Freedom from regret, hate, anxiety, and rage -- and making
useless excuses for being compromised by these negative states --
begins as we stand in the light of this rescuing realization:
unwanted moments, whatever their nature, do not cause the pain
we find in them; rather, they serve to reveal a level of our
consciousness already in pain, and looking for something to
blame for it."
