    Hello,

I’ve put off exercise other than stuff I do at work. I thought about starting a gentle jog and walk program. Will it be beneficial for me to do so even though I get burning sensations and tingling various places plus twitches? I do feel they are TMS. I’ve felt that exercise would make things worse but maybe it’s the fear talking plus uncertainty.

If you’re going to do exercise to get rid of pain or symptoms then don’t do it, if you do it because it makes you feel good then it’s fine,

Don't even think about that stuff until you have done some self-education. Read a book by Dr. Sarno, begin to absorb his ideas and then begin the work.
The rest will come, and it will make sense to you and your lifestyle.

Any particular book or do they all share the same concepts?

If you can sub out your own symptoms for Back Pain in Healing Back Pain - that's an excellent read. It's short, and only about back pain because at the time, those were most of Sarno's patients complaints.
If you'd like to read about diverse symptoms then The Divided Mind is good. Both have the same basic principals behind them, Divided Mind has chapters from different practioners and their clients using Sarno's methods.
    Both books are good.

IMO yoga is the best rentry to exercise, and has the added benefit of calming our thoughts which is necessary to tackling the TMS brain. Other than that walking in nature is also a great starting point.
