I'm a 72 year old female, in generally very good health. I was told 6-8 years ago I have DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE. Also some THORACIC KYPHOSIS. Sometimes my back doesn't hurt at all, but sometimes I have a lot of pain, mid to upper back that can last for days to weeks, with very tight muscles. I do the usual treatments of tylenol, anti-inflammatory, ice, heat, chiropractor, rest, etc. It comes and goes (or has "flares") and sometimes I am pain free. Could this be TMS?
