I’ve unintentionally been applying elements of TMS/ experiencing emotional/anxiety driven pain since I was a teenager.

First it started with panic attacks and heart palpitations at 19 although I will say some of it was hormone induced (atleast that’s what I believed)
Then skin problems, went on very restricted diet and say tons of docs to see how to fix/manage it
But I fixed it over time through meditation and telling myself I was okay!
Most recently all of the cumulated stress of my life has moved into my bladder
It started at the end of December and I felt like I had a UTI, went to 2 docs and they said I didn’t
Gave me antibiotics, and I actually developed a true uti off of not taking them properly
Went back on antibiotics, finished the entire course was deemed clear but the symptoms urgency pelvic pain ect stayed
So I read a bunch of stuff online particularly about IC. I wanted anything to describe what I was going through but was simultaneously fearful of the label it being chronic.
My symptoms come and go and sometimes I feel I can will them away but then I let fear and doubt back in.
I’m determined though. I’m not new to pain but this particular bout has been more difficult to deal with due to its placement in the body and how it’s disrupted my life and things I love/are important to me.

It's awesome that you've already proven yourself capable of healing TMS before, here's to the start of the journey :)

IC is TMS. If you have been thoroughly checked by a doctor and nothing is found, just keep applying your TMS principles. I dealt with the same thing and was seeing a doctor since they didn't find anything that was causing the pain. They then wanted to run a scope to see how it looked. It was at that point, I realized that nothing was going to change with it and I WASN'T doing that! Keep up the good work and know that you have healed once, you can heal again!
